Another night at the ER
| Well, Our weekend started off with a bang. Or at lest a bad bump. My middle daughter took a fall off her elder sisters skateboard, and recived a nasty cut on her chin requirering 4 stiches. She fell after dinner (got to love day light saving time) and came running in to the house crying, about 50-50 from pain and embaressment. We cleaned her up and wondered about the doctor. In aout 15 to 20 minuets she said that she thought it might be a good idea to see the Dr. So off we go to the ER, as we pull into the parking lot I notice that it is packed, bad sign. Stepping into the waiting room we found a whole lot of people.Mostly family and friends of patents but a croud none the less. We got looked at quickly (by a nurse) then we waited. And waited and waited ,some folks came and some went. We waited. I was seeing a trend, if you need to go to the ER you MUST take an enontourage. I mean no less than 4 people per pantent. That must be why we took so long it was just her and me, must not have looked impressive enough. Oh well we got through it and all in all it wasn't as bad as it might have been. GOD is good and my little girl will heal and the scars will fade with time. The best part is, it is another moment spent with daddy and daughter. You just got to look for the better report. |
