WOW . What a Tme we have been having.
Now most posts that start with a title like that are probably about a realy great vacation or a super blessed missions trip, well......
That's not the case with us (at least not for now).
Ok here's the run down as of last year.
Dec. Christmas found us utterly broke.Just days away from The 25th and we had a negetive balance in the check book.GOD blessed us mightly through our church friends. They realy steped up and providedway more than we could have ever imagained. The down side was that our youngest was ill with the flu. Keep that in mind. By January the rest of us were also sick execpt my beloved Regina who got to have a large growth removed from her foot and needed to be off it for three weeks. About a week into this she got a call that her Mom was in the hospital and her cancer had returned ( in Riverside Ca. about 150 miles from us). Just a week to go in the staying off the foot thing and MaMa( Reginas Mom) has been transfered to a Hospis Care facility. So off we go to see her and get down just in time to spend some time with her and pray with her. The next morrning she went home to the Lord. We get home and a few days later we find out that when the funeral home went to bury her ashes with the remains of her husband that they couldn't find him! No kidding the cematery " lost" all record of Mr. King. At this point the sisters down south are going around with the cematery and we still don't know were "Dad" is.About all we can do is cry a little, Laugh some and pray ALLWAYS. This too will work out in GOD's timeing. But for now it's enough. Hope this hasn't been too long, I'll update when every one gets to be were there susposed to be.
P.S. I went to post this and was looking for what category to put it in and the best one has to be Eclectic LOL All in All this is just another proof that GOD has a sence of humor. |
