We were supposed to go to the beach for a few days this week, but my Pop Pop has shingles in his eyes, so my gramma had to stay home with him. So we didn't go. But we did some other reaaaaally fun things.
1)Tuesday night my mom and I went to a French restaurant. We'd been planning on it since my birthday and it was super cool. The food was delish. Then we got some yummy frozen yogurt and strawberries for desert and were going to walk around the harbor a bit, but there was a lot of dark clouds and summer lightening (plus we were stuffed) so we went home and watched the first half of Pride and Prejudice. We're going to watch the second half tonight.
2) We thought about going to the Spy museum Wednesday but decided it was too pricey since my mom doesn't feel comfortable driving into DC. Plus my little brother (who's been a bit of a brat lately) was throwing this major 'I-don't-wanna' fit. My Dad's going to take me sometime. Instead we suprised my brother (like, literally, we were walking into the theater before he realized we weren't going to the Spy museum) and went to this movie at the Science Center:
We saw it at the IMAX theater and it was SO COOL! It was the first real movie I'd ever seen in a real movie theater! :P There were only about twelve other people in the whole place, so it was partly awesome and partly awkward because only the two people in front of us and the three behind us laughed, so we were like the cut-ups. There was this family of about six people two rows in front of us that didn't laugh once. The party poopers. I liked it! I liked it more then the first one, partly because of this guy:
who was HILARIOUS!! You just have to watch it. He had this lisp and stuff...awesome. :P
There were a lot of other really well known people who made cameo appearances.
Jonah Hill....
was in one of the best scenes in the movie, or at least the most memorable.
Mindy Kaling had a tiny role...

Ed Helms, same:

AMY ADAMS!!

Who is wonderful, by the way.
And loads of others. And don't hate me, but I just can't learn to like Owen Wilson. Maybe because I keep seeing him oppisite people like
Steve Coogan:
Who had another one of the best scenes of the movie. Squirrels and things. :D
3) I GOT A DAY OFF WORK!! yay! Of course, I'm pretty much broke right now but it was nice anyway. :D
Toodles!

That sounds awesomely fun!! I love trying new restaurants.
Right now I am extremely cold, but I can explain why. :) I'm wearing my bathing suit and the a/c is on...and my bathing suit is wet....and my hair.....brrrr.....
So how's the weather up there? It's really hot here, like in the 80's and 90's!!! I was at camp last week and we about burnt up. :)
Then Thursday and Friday morning we froze our butts off and it was really really, really, really cold...I mean seriously, I had on one of those black fleece jackets for winter!!!!
Well I gotta go help with dinner now.
