"Take me out to the ball game"

   Two weeks ago we went to a baseball game. It was the Tampa Yankees versus the Clearwater Threshers. I was humming "Take me out to the ball game". It was perfect. I had my favorite minor league team [the Tampa Yankees of course] and then suddenly it happened. In the first inning the Threshers scored. I thought oh my god we've lost and then again in the third inning they scored. Two points in three innings. Then naturally in the thick of the action I had to use the restroom. I thought "oh well we aren't winning so I went. But when I came back it was four to two. Tampa was winning. Oh my god, I said out loud, we are winning and then, after two more innings, my dad decided we were going to go [we had previously agreed that we would not stay the entire game] so we left and drove home.
