Aug. 30, 2007 - K.B.'s short Daily St. Louis Cardinals report
Okay, I’m keeping this Cardinal report really short for a reason you wil find out later.
But anyway, the Cardinals played the Astros yesterday and did not do well as they allowed 7 runs and did not score any themselves. They loose 0-7.
Cardinals starter Kip Wells allowed 5 runs in 5 innings pitched. Randy Flores allowed 2 runs in the 9th. Wells gets his 15th loss.
The Cardinals also only had a total of 6 hits. Rick Ankiel and Aaron Miles each had 2 hits.
They play again at 1:05 CT against the Astros. Joel Piniero will start for the Cardinals.
