    Tea Swaps

Over at The Homeschool Lounge, I am in a group called the Tea Cozy.  Once a month we have a tea swap where you exchange teas and tuck-ins with a partner.  I would like to share my tea swaps for October and November with you.

In October, my swap partner was Michelle from Canada.  I am sorry it has taken me so long to post this, but I was looking for the "perfect" frame for it.

Michelle sent me this BEAUTIFUL cross stitch she made, a wall plaque, a scrumptious smelling Yankee Candle tart, and Spiced Chai tea.  I drank that as soon as I opened her package!  :D  YUMMM!

Thank you so much for this swap, Michelle.  I really enjoyed being your partner and getting to know more about you!  It was WONDERFUL!  :D

For November, Deb and I exchanged our tea swaps, which we did this past Thursday.  OMGosh................as you can see from the picture, I was SPOILED!

I just LOVE the handmade clay tea time arrangement and the acorn and turkey pins.  Aren't they adorable!  Underneath everything is a BEAUTIFUL table runner that was made in such a way that I can take a pan straight from the oven and put it right on the table.  AWESOME!!!

Also included was an assortment of cappucinos and teas in a holiday mug.  She tucked in a few of my favorite, Spiced Chai.  I have that almost gone already.  :D

I also received a breast cancer pen in honor of my sister Giggy, a cat mouse pad ( lol) and a sweet prayer journal.

Thank you, Deb, for this wonderful basket.  I LOVE IT!!!!

    Blessings~

    Laura

    Gettin' Crafty

    Posted in Gettin' Crafty
I have been busy this past week crafting.  I have had such a great time making things, especially since Skippy got our wood stove finished and installed and I can curl up on the couch, enjoy the warmth, and watch the fire.  COZY!!!

This is a writing journal I made
     which was inspired by
    Kelli

This is the beginning of a table runner

You should have seen what was going on while I was sewing.  Rascal was sitting behind my machine, putting BOTH his paws through trying to get me hands.  Apparently I was NOT giving him enough attention.  When he finally got ahold of my hand, he wouldn’t let go!  ROFLOL!

This is a placemat with a decoration to match it with the runner.
It is a pocket to put your utensils, napkin, lima beans, whatever!

Here are the finished products.  They just need to be ironed.  Well, what do you think?!?!?!?!?!?  Not too bad for not having a pattern!  COOL!

Are YOU doing any kind of craft project?  Perhaps for a birthday, Christmas, or just because?  Please leave a comment with a link so we can all come by and take a look!

    Blessings~
    Laura
