How cool! I received my FIRST mother/son tag last week from Renee over at RenJac and Jacob over at Pilgrim's Journey. I am sorry I did not get to do this tag when I received it, but better late then never, right? lol

4. What is your favorite TV show? ICE ROAD TRUCKERS and HOUSE (I couldn't chose just one)
5. What do you usually have for breakfast? toast

7. What food do you dislike? brussel sprouts
8. What is your favorite CD at the moment? SELAH
9. What kind of car do you drive? my broom
10. Favorite sandwich? ALMOST ANYTHING between two slices of bread
11. What characteristic do you despise? snobbishness (sp?)
12. Favorite item of clothing? jogging suit
13. If you could go anywhere where would you go? Australia
14. Favorite brand of clothing? I don't do name brands
15. Where would you retire to? wherever my family is
16. What was your most memorable birthday? they have all been wonderful
17. Favorite sport to watch? N-O-N-E
18. Are you a morning person or a night person? whatever I have to be that particular day

20. Pets? 1 dog, 5 cats,, and 2 chinchillas
21. Any new exciting news? BOTH of my daughters are getting married within a month of each other
22. What did you want to be when you were little? a nurse and a mom
23. How are you today? Not great...migraine and body aches
24. What are you listening to right now? The More I Seek You by Kari Jobe, my cats attacking each other, and my daughter eating crackers....what a combination!
25. What was the last thing you ate? toast
26. Do you wish on stars? Yes, but I should really pray instead!
27. If you where a crayon what color would you be? burgundy/maroon
28. How is the weather right now? overcast and nice
29. Who was the first person that you talked on the phone today? my sister when she called and WOKE ME UP!!!!
30. What is your favorite soft drink? Diet Pepsi, baby!! :D
31. What is your favorite place to eat at? any place that is NOT here LOL
32. What is your hair color? blonde
33. What was your favorite toy as a child? my portable ice skating rink, until my brother popped the air bubbles in it making holes EVERYWHERE! WAAAHHH!!

35. Hugs or kisses? YES, and LOTS OF THEM!!!!!
36. Chocolate or vanilla? depends on what it is

38. When was the last time you cried? the other day
39. What is under your bed? OMGosh........EVERYTHING!!!!

A Hubby Tag
Hubby Tag
Thank you, Farrah for this hubby tag you left me back on July 24th. I'm sorry haven't had time to get to it until now. ! If you guys get a chance, please go on over and take a look at what her responses were. She posted hers on the 23rd.
1. WHO IS YOUR MAN ? Skippy
2. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN TOGETHER? In November, we will celebrate our 22nd anniversary
3. HOW LONG DID YOU DATE? About 2 1/2 years
4. HOW OLD IS YOUR MAN? He will be celebrating is BIG 40 on Friday. Happy Birthday, Honey! I  YOU!!! 
5. WHO EATS MORE? ROFLOL! It's a tie!
6. WHO SAID I LOVE YOU FIRST? He did!
7. WHO IS TALLER? I am!  I stand 6'1", he is 5'11".
8. WHO SINGS BETTER? We both can sing, but together we sound BEAUTIFUL!
9.WHO IS SMARTER? Definitely, Skippy!.
10. WHOSE TEMPER IS WORSE? He just has a shorter fuse than I, not a bad temper
11. WHO DOES THE LAUNDRY? I do the most of it, but he makes the most of it! 
12.WHO TAKES OUT THE GARBAGE? We both share in the responsibility of taking out the garbage. I take it OUT of the garbage can in the kitchen and put it by the back door, and he takes it OUT to the recycling center
13. WHO SLEEPS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BED? Is there a wrong side?
14.WHO PAYS THE BILLS? He does. I just remind him.......sometimes
15. WHO IS BETTER WITH THE COMPUTER? It really depends on what it is we are doing on it. We both have different talents in that area
16.WHO MOWS THE LAWN? I do. Thank God for my tractor!!!
17.WHO COOKS DINNER? I do most of the time unless I'm not home.......then they eat P I Z Z A!!!.
18. WHO DRIVES WHEN YOU'RE TOGETHER? He does, unless he has worked long hours and is tired
19. WHO PAYS WHEN YOU GO OUT? He does
20. WHO IS MOST STUBBORN? We both have our stubborn side, but I believe I am the most stubborn
21. WHO IS THE FIRST TO ADMIT WHEN THEY ARE WRONG? Neither...........we are both always right! 
22. WHOSE PARENTS DO YOU SEE THE MOST? Skippy's. Both of my parents have been Promoted to Glory!!!
23. WHO KISSED WHOM FIRST? Hmmm......I think it was he who kissed me first
24. WHO ASKED WHO OUT? Neither one, it just happened
25. WHO PROPOSED? Skippy proposed to me on Christmas morning at my Grandmother Foxy's house
26. WHO IS MORE SENSITIVE? Absolutely ME!!!
27. WHO HAS MORE FRIENDS? I do, although we have a lot of mutual friends.
28. WHO HAS MORE SIBLINGS? I do. I have 7 siblings, 4 sisters and 3 brothers, Skippy has 2 brothers
29. WHO WEARS THE PANTS IN THE FAMILY? Skippy wears the pants in the family, but I pick them out!!!!! 
30. HOW DID YOU MEET? We met when his mom and I worked together for The Salvation Army. I tried to fix him up with my sister. I WON!!!

The Top Ten Things I Love About My Husband
1) He loves the Lord.
2) He loves his family.
3) He reads my blog and will leave me comments.
4) He works so hard and has three jobs so that I can be a stay-at-homeschool-Mom!
5) He has put up with my quirks and my wEiRd sense of humor for 21 years.
6) He eats whatever I cook......even if it stinks. Now that's true !
7) He is a GREAT husband and father!
8) He loves to talk walks with me.
9) He is handsome and looks great in his carpenter pants.
10) He gives EXCELLENT back massages.

I Have Been Tagged
jsgay97 Tagged me! Thank you for sending this to me, Jennifer. For this one I actually had to use my brain a little. And we all know how HARD that is for me to do! lol
A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.

5 Things I was doing 10 years ago:
Hmmmmm.....I am supposed to remember that far back? OUCH!!!!
1. I was working as a Preschool Teaching Assistant in Special Education.
2. I had been living in Virginia for 9 years.
3. Dedicating our son, Kiddo to God on his 4th birthday.
4. Having coffee with my sister, Dawn
5. Doing laundry (I'm sure I was doing laundry back then too!)
5 Things on my to-do list today
1. Get to church, and get there ON TIME!!!
2. Visit with bgwannabe and barlowgirlgirl and have birthday cake
3. Spend alone time with God
4. LOVE MY FAMILY
5. Clean SOMETHING in my house and get rid of the "dust bunnies"

1. 7 is my lucky number - I am the 7th child, born on the 7th day. I
weighed 7 pounds 14 oz (two 7's) I was 21 inches long (three 7's),
I was born in 1965 (when added together.....1+9+6+5=21 (three 7's)
and I was born 7 days before Valentine's Day.
2. I don't like going to bed if it's not made
3. I love the smells of: the earth after is has been tilled and right after
a rain, snow, bacon frying, coffee perking, and freshly cut grass
4. I HATE sand but I LOVE the ocean
5. I have lost both my parents and a sister

Skippy, aka
Grace Seeker
and I were married in 1986 and recently celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary. Skippy
is a water treatment plant manager that purifies and recycles water for a large poultry company. He plays
the drums with our Praise and Worship team, coronet, and helps run the sound booth
at our church. He likes to watch HOUSE, Ice Road Truckers, BONES,and the
Deadliest Catch (curled up on the couch with ME, of course!) Skippy is my BEST FRIEND
and the LOVE OF MY LIFE. Oh, and I forgot to mention he is the world's BEST
DAD!

Goose
has graduated from our local community college with an Associate's Degree in
Liberal Arts & Sciences. She is now taking on-line classes with the University of Pheonix to continue her
education, as it is her desire to become a Child Psychologist. She was recently married to her high school
sweetheart, Tang, and they are living close by with their sweet little fur baby, Bailey. Goose enjoys cooking,
the outdoors, crabbing, spending time with family and friends, working out, and finding mouth-watering Weight
Watcher's recipes. She loves watching HOUSE, Will and Grace, The Biggest Loser, eating pumpkin ice cream,
and buying Pampered Chef and Mary Kay. Her latest love is collecting Pandora charms for her bracelet.
WE ? YOU, GOOSE!
Bean is very artistic and a whiz on the computer. She has recently started making
personalized military purses using their spouse's/fiancee's/boyfriend's ACU's. She is doing very
well with her business, but has recently taken some time off to marry her high school sweetheart, Tex, and to
move to their new home our of the area. :> ( Bean is also enrolled in classes now and will be getting her
Associate's Degree in Business when completed. Bean loves animals, enjoys cooking, sewing, working on the
computer, EATING, spending time with friends and family, watching HOUSE, Army Wives, and Paula Dean.

Kiddo, aka
Nintendo Master is very much enjoying being
home-schooled. He enjoys playing video games, and listening
to his MP3 player. He loves doing woodworking with Skippy. He is a STYX, Relient K, and RUSH fan, just
like his dad. He also enjoys board games, listening to Adventures in Odyssey, and attending the Youth Group
at our church. Kiddo also loves to EAT, play POKEMON, Guitar Hero, and Rayman on his DS. He also enjoys
spending time with his good friend, Barlow Girl Girl, his cousin, NEMO, watching HOUSE, Deadliest Catch,
and Ice Road Truckers with mom and dad.

This is my girl, Paws......the BEST doggone dog in the world!!!
This is Grandma's girl, Bailey.....She is soooo adorable!!!!
