it all happened on tuesday night after my hockey game, and it just had to happen to me. we were all in the dressing room and i threw some ice at a girl on my hockey team(it's what we always do for fun) but i guess i was a little close, and when my hand went forward her skate went up in reaction and her blade came in contact with my hand. it cut REALLY deep. so i took two steps and noticed it as bleeding really badly, so i ran into the bathroom and people came in and watched until finally i yelled at people to get a parent. i went out into the main hall where all the parents usually stand and the bandaged my hand up, then my mom drove me to the emergency room where i had about a 2 1/2 hour wait, then sat in the real room for about half and hour till the doctor came. i got 4 stitches in my left hand. which has to be the hand that i write, and do most everything with. we got home from the hospital about 2:00AM and i actually went to bed at 4:00AM. yesterday my hand was in pain the whole day, so i just sat and watched movies. and today i did almost the same. it's my brothers 21st birthday today so i did actually TRY and help with one hand. i managed to clean up his room and make my bed. i get my stitches off in ten days, and until then i can't do anything that could rip my stitches, so no hockey, no horseback riding, no snowboarding... and tomorrow i was supposed to go skating with my co-op, but i can't anymore, my mom won't let. at least she'll let me go for hot chocolate after! anyways, better go.
