Trip to the Hospital
Posted in Just Our Day-to-Day Life
I am leaving now for the hospital. My dad was just taken there after having "some sort of episode" at home. Please pray for him and for the doctors that will be seeing him. Symptoms were light-headedness and wooziness, and his blood pressure has shot up. We are hoping that this has nothing to do with the cancer.
I know that he was mixing some stain removal chemicals together right before it happened, when doing his laundry, so hopefully that is all this is. We can hope that is the case! I would appreciate it if you would pass the word along to others to please pray for my very special Daddy! I want him home, and not in the hospital for ages, but now that they have him there, they'll want to keep him to check out all the other things that are going on as well, I suppose
It just never ends..
.
Drats...I won't get all my walking in for my certificate of completion now....

Oh Kathy, you totally made me laugh about your certificate of completion for the walking! I know what you mean though...when something goes wrong it seems to effect so many other areas of things you need to do/meant to do/want to do.
I will definitely be praying for your dad...and the doctors to check him out and send him home.
Love,
Marsha

Thanks for your post on my site. Now God has led me to another path and that is a path of prayer for those of you still in the trenches. Here goes.
Lord, I thank you for being so awesome and caring about every little detail in our lives. I lift my friend up to you right now and ask that you give her strength to home teach, tend to her Daddy, get her walking in, and all the other millions of things expected of home teachers. Bless her socks off today and bring her father home from hospital with a clean bill of health. In Jesus' name. Amen!
As an aside, chemicals can do that to a person. My father refinishes furniture and has to really watch what he uses in his shop. I'll keep praying
