Posted in Interesting Blog Tid-Bits
Wow! Tonight is a milestone for "Through It All." I just noticed two things that are pretty cool. First, I saw that my counter is at exactly 2,000 visitors since Nov. 4! I still cannot believe that many people actually stop by here and read the "stuff" that I write.
I've been tracking where the hits come from, and I am really happy to see that most come from fellow homeschoolbloggers and links that my friends have on their sites to something that I have written. I'm also glad to see that many people are finding this blog when they do a search for homeschooling, for PPROM, infant loss awareness, depression, and for Family Bookshelf---all of which are my pet projects that I hope to build on here. I will be adding lots of things on PPROM and infant loss these next couple months in memory of Ellora, so these people will find the help that took us far too long to find. And I know there will be lots more about our Family Bookshelf business as I continue to add to our business website nearly every day. (Hey, you might want to check out the clearance sale things there!) I am so thankful that this blog can be a vehicle to do that for someone.
Another cool thing happened. I am now a Crunchy Crustacean in the Blogosphere. But the sad thing is that somehow I missed out on all the pleasures of being a Wiggly Worm. That phase of my existence must have taken place while I have been away so much the past couple weeks, and in and out of "my blog space" in a rush each time I was here. So if someone else is a Wiggly Worm, tell me what it's like, ok?
For those who don't know the hierarchy in the Blogosphere, here is the list. I was so used to being an Insignificant Microbe and a Multicellular Microorganism that I thought I would be stuck at those levels forever! I thought a Slimy Mollusk was so totally out of reach, and someday soon I might be one. But, oh, to think that possibly one day I might be an Adorable Rodent...hehehe :-)
