I need to set out our books for tomorrows lessons. We use Math U See, Abeka for Science, History and Health, Sing-Spell-Read & Write for reading. I also use alot of print outs from the computer and other miscellaneous workbooks I get at Half-Price books. We are going to start a Unit Study on colonial times with Felicity (American Girl) in January. Right now, we are learning about Abraham Lincoln by doing a lapbook and reading different books about him. My daughter belongs to a "Keepers at Home" group and is in a ballet class. My son does "flag football" with the Upward program. We also belong to a homeschool co-op that meets on Friday. Our days are never the same, we are very relaxed in our schedule but we have fun and still get our work finished. So, I guess I should spend the rest of my evening getting things ready....

We are also part of Keepers and Contenders and my son is in Upward flag football. My dd uses MUS, but ds uses Saxon.
Blessings on your plans!

Hello. Thank you for visiting my blog. Actually, i'm not a morning person. I used to be. But now I stay up late to goof off. (Blush) That schedule is our ideal schedule. But it just can't be written in stone because things pop up. However, lots of times we stay pretty close to a schedule. This is a new one that we want to try to give the kids more play time in the afternoon. I don't know of any secret to getting up early except to go to bed early, which I' not doing right now. (Another blush). To my defense, though, tomorrow is our Family day (Dad's off), so everyone sleeps in. Have a great day
