I love Patricia Polacco.  She is a wonderful author of childrens books.  My favorite is "Pink and Say".  I read about this book on another blog a couple of years ago (Southern Girl Musings, I think).  Anyway, its the best and worst childrens book I've read.  Her books are sometimes based on things that have happened in her childhood.  I also like "The Keeping Quilt" and "Christmas Tapestry".  I haven't read one of her books that I don't like but then, I haven't read them all.  That is my goal, however.  Can anyone suggest any other childrens authors that they like?  I'm always looking for more childrens books.....I may have to move dh into the garage to add more book shelves..lol

Hi! I am not sure about the book ideas because I struggle with the same things. We are reading the "Sister in Time" series aloud and I am enjoying them right along with the kids. Anything from keepers of the faith or vision forum will be good.
