Learning as we go

Heehee

On a recent search for cool homeschool t-shirts, I came across these two which I especially liked:

What homeschooler hasn't heard the ol' socialization argument?  And the one below cracked me up, because a lot of it is true for us, and because my oldest gets a weekly schedule so that he can keep track of his history reading and independent work, and on one line I do write "CHORES" to remind him to go look at his chore chart everyday.

I have no affiliation with this site, but thought I should list where I found them:

Aug. 30, 2007 - Play dough

Posted by kcmyworld
Thanks for stopping by my blog. You asked if making playdough from scratch was a big deal. Not at all! I think I did it in about 10 minutes, before calling the kids to lunch. I used the recipe that includes salt, flour, veg oil and cream of tartar. I'm pretty sure I won't be buying playdugh for a long time! This will meet our needs and the kids have enjoyed it.

Hope yours is a good day today.

Too cute. Our cover school has a spot on the school record for chores. They are broke up into different jobs, I guess for like a home ec class. We have chores on our plans too. I guess most of that shirt applied to us.;)
Be blessed,
