I've been reading up on his bio and more about the project and it is just fascinating. It totally confirms what my husband and I have been saying about unschooling in the environment that we live in today. There is just so much to do and find where we live now. If we set ourselves up as facilitators for our boys and follow them and help them to what they are interested in without comment or push, they will teach themselves. They will find what fascinates them and gives them joy and they will learn all they need to make the dreams they dream happen, without interference from a school with its own agenda.
