Look What I Bought!!!
Look what I bought for $20!
We had our monthly produce co-op day today. Another member and I were the ones in charge of shopping. We have a group of about 20 families who each give $20. Then we go down to the farmers market downtown and shop with that money. It is a neat way to try things you maybe would not try and get things in bulk to save money. We shop with the wholesalers, mostly. When things are in season, we will run over to the local side and pick some of those things. Watermelon was a local purchase. I was able to get 13 watermelons for $2.25 each. Those things were HUGE!!
This is what we had for lunch today:
I love fresh produce!! I love saving money!!!
