Now, Don't Judge Me...

Okay, after the last post and the couple of comments about my love of books, I just had to post again!! Look at this!!!

I went to our Friends of the Library sale tonight. I got all of these books for $104!!! I found loads of books to complete my Ambleside book list. My daughters found all sorts of stuff AND I helped friends get the books they needed! It was a good thing I was there!!

Punkin (who is my dad

) said that I got my love of book collecting from them. He is right. In the beginning, most my books had come from their library. Growing up, I remember going to the friends sales in the town we lived in. That was one of the best library systems I have ever seen (and I have seen a few). They would have their friends sales in the local mall and line the books around the entire place!

So, that is where the book collecting started. Since then, my collection has become my own. I even loan them books once in a while. They know that whenever they come to visit, I may have something for them to read.

My hope is that I never run out of books for my children to read. What a legacy! Can you imagine five more like me??? Chelelew is right, I need to post a "Wordless Wednesday" and show you my shelves of books and how neatly arranged all the STACKS are.

It is overwhelming!

I may wait until AFTER we get bookshelves built, but then I may never show you...

That looks like so much fun! We have a sale but it's not that great loads of people a not a whole lot of quality books.

You also helped us when we moved, by allowing us to increase your library. We were able to provide you with several collections to be used as reference for the kids. As you know, many, many, many, gifts are books on a wide variety of topics.

I go to our FOL sale every month! I usually get between 130-150 books! I keep many and E-Bay some. I have some pictures of last months stacks, but never posted them Our sale is this Saturday, so maybe I post about it!

Momma, whose hands are gleefully rubbing together hoping for good books tomorrow!
