A Wednesday Which Wasn't So Wordless...

Are you amazed when things do not go the way you thought they would? We had big plans today. This is the Wednesday we are usually gone all morning and most of the afternoon. The morning started very well. I was so on my game that we were walking out of the house by 8:10! That never happens on our "Go To Town" Wednesday.

We ran out the door, got in the van and it did not start. I actually thought I was doing it wrong! I tried a couple of times and even checked my key to make sure it was the right one. Like I could fit the wrong one in!! The battery was dead. It was so dead that it did not even "click".

So everything changed. I was able to get the kids through school and I completed some craft ideas for my home school meeting tomorrow night. I also made a couple of apple pies. I created the above photo tutorial for you to enjoy! My photographer was "Little Handsome" my six year old fella.

So, see if God changes your plans tomorrow. If so, give my apple pie recipe a try. It really is worth it!!

Some people make lemonade out of lemons... You handle changes in your schedule very well...
Looking forward to trying your pie recipe... We just made the Apple Pie recipe from the FIAR cookbook... YUMMY!!!

Ohhh! Good ending to your post! And...can I just use canned pumpkin for those muffins?

I've had trouble getting into your blog. The only way I can get in is to click through my blog's friend's list. I cannot get yours to open except through mine. Strange.

What about posting your scone recipe? You do make great scones, right!?

I'm assuming that you still cannot see my pictures. I am so bummed about that!

Did I ever tell you about my kids? I don't think I did. Chloe, as you know, is 7. Twins Zak & Willow are almost 5. And now we have Macy, 18 months. We are still trying for more and hope there is still time - seeing as how I am turning 40.

Thank you for posting the scone recipe. I am more excited than ever about it because of your new, revised recipe. Just over 6 months ago, we, also, drastically changed the way we eat. No more dairy, sugar, processed foods, etc. We eat mostly vegetarian. I am also in the process of switching over to homemade household cleaners. My purpose is for prevention of disease. My kids will someday choose for themselves what goes in their mouth. For now, I want to give them the gift of 15-20 years of a clean inner body. They don't see it as a gift yet, of course!

The change in eating habits changes how my kitchen looks....the cupboards are emptier and the refrigerator is full! If the frig gets empty....there truly is NOTHING to eat! :)
