Neat Food Blog
I found Kelly the Kitchen Kop a couple of weeks ago. I have enjoy reading through her blog when I get the chance. I especially liked the this entry: Support From Your Spouse In The Kitchen. It was a wonderful testimony of how important it is to have your husband on board with your food changes.
My Wonderful Husband has been "on board" with our food conversion since the very beginning. He even shares some of my researched words of wisdom with his friends at work. I know that this is not always the norm.
I have several friends who's husbands cannot stand the changes they have made. That is a very difficult place to be. You struggle with what you feel in your heart is right for your family and your desire to respect and honor your spouse. I have no firm answer. I do encourage you to pray about it. Respect your husbands wishes if he does not want you to change the eating habits. If he is willing to make some changes, take those and be thankful. Look for options that are more to his tastes and still healthy. Take change slowly. This is very important.
God will bless your faithfulness. |
