We used to live at 7200 feet in the Sierras. We had LOTS of snow. I always loved the first real snow. Your pictures bring back memories of quiet snowy days. It seems like God put a muffler on all the sounds. Everything is so quiet after it snowed. I just loved it!

We lived in a two story house--and the main story was on the top with the garage below. We got so much snow that it couldn't unload from the roof any more and built up a sort-of cave around us. We could see out the ends of the house where the peaks of the roof were, but the sides were enclosed in a cave of snow. Fun!

We live where we only get snow occasionally, although it snows on the hills and mountains around us.
