Christmas Music
This year for Christmas I am in 2 cantadas. They both have the same music. One is at our church and one is at TMBC. Music Man and 1of4 are in three, the two I am in and the community choir at the JC too. The one at our church is first- on the 10th. It will be wonderful. The church is decorated beautifully with greenery and lights in the sanctuary. There is a tree in the corner on which each family will put their missions ornament before the cantada. I think we have about 10 or so singing, and 2 narrarators. The pastor will read the Christmas story in the middle of the program. I am singing a solo for the last song. No comment. At TMBC, the living Christmas Tree there are a lot a lot of people. Like 70 or something. The tree is huge and immense and gigantic! It is the 25th anniversary of the Living Christmas Tree and Piano Woman was in program number 1- 25 years ago! Wow! Like I said, its the same music, but it has a very different feel to it. Since there are so many more singing than at our Church, the sound is bigger. But also, being so high up is a different unusual experience. The tree is divided into about, oh, maybe 7 rows, one above the next- like bleachers. Kind of like this: (although this isn't the exact one I am in)
There is greenery where you stand- like a balcony and your head is where the next person's (above you) shins are. So, you are squeezed between a wall of greenery in front of you and a wall of greenery that your head and back are leaning against There are stairs on both sides leading up to the top that let you out on your row. It is tight fit though! The entry is very orgnaized- and I am very glad because it would be a mess if not! The rows are high off the ground, but the tree is very secure so I am not scared. I'm not usually afraid of heights unless I don't feel secure. Like if I was on a balance beam between 2 skyscapers, I would not be standing- I would be clinging for dear life to the beam whereas if I were on a balance beam 5 feet off the ground with a net- I would feel a lot safer. You know? Anyway it will be fun! For TMBC we have like 5 performances in a row- AHHH! We will make it!

About Me
Hi! This is my blog. It is more of a record than a diary. Keeping a journal wasn't really ever my thing.
I am 15 years old and enjoy reading, cooking, gardening, and learning about fitness and nutrition.
I'm currently studying Revelation in school and Genesis on my own. Also, I am learning about ocean currents and the structure of the earth. Neat stuff...
