Christmas Updates!
Hi! The Season has been busy and I haven't had time to write anything.
First off, the Living Christmas Tree was great! We all survived 4 performances from Wednesday through Saturday. (My back kind of hurt the first two days, but after that I got used to it) A lot of members from our church came to see it, so it was cool to see them from the tree. They said it sounded great. I hope I can see the recording of it. (I never have even seen a Tree performance isn't that insane?) But... I never did get to go to the very top of the tree just to see what it looked like. Maybe next year... :-)

My great-grandmother died on December 17 and so we woke up at 2 a.m. to go to the funeral (We had to travel 5 hours). I didn't know her very well. Her husband died oh, it must be 4 or so years ago, and I went to his funeral. Those are the only people relatively (oh, excuse the pun!) close to me. I felt a little bad because I wasn't crying like the other people there. I did feel very bad for Mr.G because he is usually so happy and content and he was really down. We got back at like 6 p.m. and I went to bed.
For Christmas Eve (a Sunday) we took the day off from church- oh my! how rebellious!- and we stayed home. We read the Christmas story and ate a Christmas lunch with ham, mashed potatoes and apple pie. Then we opened presents to and from the Music Man, Piano Woman, 1of4, 3of4, and 4of4 (and me.) Also, our grandparents from Colorado sent us some presents too.
More on the presents later...
Christmas Day we went to Mr. and Mrs. G's house. At their house we opened presents first heeheehee. I read the Christmas story this year and Piano Woman played (would you believe it?) Christmas music on the piano. There we had a Christmas smorgasbord of pickles, olives, peppers, crackers, chips, dip, turkey, ham, guacamole and other things too. The adults opened presents after lunch. Then everyone had cheesecake that Music Man made.
Overall it was fun and I must say one of the better Christamses (even though I didn't get into the spirit- I think that the "spirit" is gone, you know the child's Christmas spirit. Sad.)

About Me
Hi! This is my blog. It is more of a record than a diary. Keeping a journal wasn't really ever my thing.
I am 15 years old and enjoy reading, cooking, gardening, and learning about fitness and nutrition.
I'm currently studying Revelation in school and Genesis on my own. Also, I am learning about ocean currents and the structure of the earth. Neat stuff...
