Hello, my adoring fans!  Today has been a verra slow an' quiet Sunday; I woke up late this morning and stayed in bed reading the third Mitford book until 1:30, when we all "robbed the larder" (got what we wanted for lunch). The book was OK, but I think I might get the fourth from the library. Mom hasn't been feelin' well today; wanted ta letcha know my prayers are with you, Mom!

Has anyone been enjoying the Olympics? The Opening Ceremony was real weird; we saw some fencing but I wasn't impressed: too many delays like in football, the girls screamed when they hit each other and they wore big poufy clothes and masks! That was just too much for me. It should be unhindered by protection, honest and non-stop!!!! *ahem, excuse me; I got passionate thar*

I got a soundtrack CD for Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame the other night and it's verra nice and in loverly condition; my rose is still doin' well; the weather was fallish again today, but not cool enough for me to read all day outside...so, naturally, I read INSIDE all day!
