Nov. 25, 2007 - FUN!!!

I am going to post two pictures........ Please forgive the first one.  We had little vision and even less time,lol.  But FINALLY we are making small strides in the decorating of our bedroom! 

Many years ago we were blessed with two very old matching chairs from my mother.  You may call them yellow -  but I call them gold!  I did not want to part with said chairs......I had grown quite fond of them through the years.  But a couple of weeks ago, my sweet hubby thought we should give the parting a sincere and diligent try.  So..... I did.  But, to my disbelief and utter joy - they did not sell!!!!!  YIPPEE!!!!! 

Then, last year, as hubby strolled through Lowes, he found a ditty of a deal!  Two huge white mirrors....beautiful.  I believe the original price on the mirrors were somewhere between 60-80.00.  BUT he was blessed with the mirrors for 5.00 each!!!! 

All this to say that we have now entered the realm of redecorating our bedroom!  Here are the before and after pics!  Give grace now..........

We're one wall down, have much more to go, but I'm so excited about the outcome!  And to think the entire project cost about 23.00!  You cannot tell in the picture but there is a neat texture on the wall.  We layered tissue paper and painted it!  A really neat effect that my aunt told me about!  And CHEAP!  Hubby did all of this for me while he was coming down with a cold!  Isn't he the sweetest most fantabulous(just learned that word from a dear friend....)!!!!

I know the lighting is not the best but it's a wee bit late now that he's done
