Mar. 17, 2008 - Want some fries with that Rant?

Okay....some of you are aware of the ongoing Miss McDonalds saga.  This is the third entry on the subject.  I really think the Lord is speaking to me through this.  It's just getting too funny to think that He isn't!

I drove through for our weekly pickup and Miss McDonald was not there.  But one of the managers was there.  I have to say this for an overview of the situation.....every time this particular manager is the runner for my food the order is wrong.  I know there has had to have been a time where she actually got my order right, but I just cannot think of one.  And I visit every single week!

So I drive through and just as I receive the bags through the window (had a feeling)..... and quickly checked my bags.  I immediately realized I was missing a sandwich and that's when I saw her!  There was her little head peeking around the stainless steel counter top. She says: 'I only do this to your order'.  To which I responded..."I know....I'm starting to wonder" in a very playful tone.  Then guess what she said.......You won't believe this.....she says "Oh I wouldn't do that - with all those kids you got - I feel for ya".

Now what in the world does that have to do with forgetting my sandwich?!  Oh this is hilarious!!!!  I am cracking up - REALLY!  The funniest part is I don't think she/they have ever seen my children.  I usually only take one with me at a time and I didn't have any with me today.  The most they have seen of my half dozen blessings is the evidence that they exist (car seats).  She has never seen their beautiful faces, heard their cute little laughs, or seen their well mannered McDonald visits - ever (at least I don't think so).

I am on the verge of dressing them all in matching Sound Of Music outfits and prancing them through the shop for a little Do, Rae, Me.  This poor lady has such a horrid misconception of children and sweet family life.

Okay.....I'm done. Rant over.  Fries anyone?

Oh, I would totally take them all for a sit in meal at that place. Definitely all dressed up. Have them go up to the counter one at a time and ask for something and "yes maam them" And "Thank you very much." Oh, if we come soon, we could take all 12!!! What a fun lunch!!!!!

Tooooooo funny.
I have one to add. I only have 2 boys. However, when I talk about our buddy Misti, I get the "comments." I find myself stressing on how I can make a difference for someone.
HUGS!!!
