Sep. 8, 2009 - ~All things learing AND a deal to share
Today is the official start of our school. We will start fresh with new pages from new books and delve in to mathematics, literature, and beginning phonics. We have been busy 'trying' to get all our ducks in a row before we begin our 'official' school year, although we have never ceased in our learning. The most recent learning came from a very old book and the story of Cubby.
We gathered around reading this story from the 1950's and thoroughly enjoying every minute. We learned that there are bears in Arizona and there really is no difference between a black bear and a brown bear. Then for the grand finale we made our little bear cakes. Ahhh school...... gotta love it!

Hey Trina!
You've got until October 1st. We had aa bit of a drive today on our way to go spelunking and listened to one of the C.D.'s. So far it is GREAT!!! Can I put another exclamation point?! >grin. Really very interesting though. I believe 6 c.d.'s came in the set along w/a study guide. $10.00!
