I managed to grab a couple of pix of our sweet boys learning to set up their chess board yesterday. You can see the older one looking to the left, looking at the computer screen which was playing a dvd on how to set up the board. The younger one couldn't keep up as well, so the older one would hit the rewind button on the computer and help his brother set up the other side.
They were there doing the various beginning exercises for over an hour. The older brother was quite indignant when his younger siblings woke up from nap and wanted to have some imaginary fun with his chess pieces. He was taking it very seriously and could have sat there for another hour I'm sure.
The Bible says to train according to 'their bent' and we are always studying the children to see exactly what 'their bent' is. I think we nailed this one! At least I hope so
