History - listened to the story:
The Indians were packing their belonging to go on the boat.They had to be quick because of the wind – the ship needed to go and if they did not hurry – they would miss it.After she got on the boat, she could not find her brother.He was still on the shore.The captain said we’ll have to come back for him.She jumped off the boat.She had to drop her things so she could swim.She joined her brother on the shore.
Son, just remember that nothing that is really valuable and important in this life comes easily. If it did it wouldn't be so valuable! Reading is THE most important skill you will ever learn in this life. Something THAT important is going to take some time and lots of effort. So don't be discouraged - just keep going...you WILL make it. I love you.
