Teacher of Two

School? YES!

Yeah!  It's Friday and we ended the week on a positive note!  Believe it or not, we actually had a good school day, and we never opened a text book! (an accomplishment for me!)  We started off with a little math drill sheet for M.  It has about a dozen simple addition problems.  Then we got out some dice and practiced adding the numbers we rolled.  Also introduced adding more then 2 numbers together (rolled 3 or 4 dice).  Then we moved on to geography.  We put together a small puzzle of the US.  Then glued it to a foam board, put magnets on the back and hung it on our freezer.  We talked about the two oceans - Atlantic and Pacific.  Then talked about how many states there were, where we live, where grandparents live, and where daddy has been traveling lately.  Then we made foam door hangers.   Yesterday we read several books, so I don't feel bad that we didn't do that today.  Also, both girls have story time before they go to bed.  A chooses from a selection of Dora books she keeps in her bed.  M is read a chapter from a book out of the Little House series and a Bible story.
