Blessings from the Little Farm

Snow much fun!

Well we got hit! It took all winter to finally get some REAL significant amounts of snow. Kids were very excited going to bed wanting to be snowed in. We had scheduled a "chainsaw" party to take down our willow tree but the winds were gusting over 35 mph and it wasn't safe for anyone. So we called off the party.

The kids plus 2 extra (children) have been playing in the snow all morning...what a way to enjoy school. Homeschooling is just the best. The snow is perfect for building and the sun is shining making it beautiful all over, thank you Jesus! We all know the snow won't last long but we will enjoy it as much as we can.

The storm, the beautiful snow, the sunshine... isn't it a wonderful picture of everyday life with the Lord; especially ours this past year, so many storms we've made it through now covered with the white beautiful love of Jesus washing us clean, bringing us to very happy sunshiney days...

all in the Lord's timing do we have the opportunity to enjoy:

  •  a new job for my dearest hubby
  • earning enough vacation at his old job so we may have 3+ weeks off between jobs!
  • Time & energy to take care of friends as our schedule eases...
  • good health for us all

We have so much to be grateful for...

I too luv snow ! We had a high of snow this year. I grew up in the greater Seattle area (where it doesn't snow much) and I still find snow a novelty. I love sending my kiddo's out in snow rather than rain, lol. I keep thinking that spring is around the corner and then we get more snow. But it is +2 c instead of -8. So it is getting warmer. (0=
God Bless my SSiC.
