My Show & Tell is very simple today but I'm sooooo excited that I figured it out!

This blogging template thing is a huge stretch for me..where to put stuff..how to show the weather and photos and basically change how my blog looks. Well with the encouragement of Canadagirl & PlainJane I have succeeded in putting a photobucket slideshow and the weather on my blog. Now I can show more pics to everyone!

This round of pics is from last winter and spring. We took a trip down with friends to Louisville, KY and got to see the sights...Church Hill Downs was a particular favorite of all of us because we had attended a Derby party and watched the race the year before...making it extra special! The museum there was really fun and informative. It's so much more than placing bets: the horses, the jockeys, the science of racing, the dress, the hats, the food, the events surrounding the actual day of the race, and the history.

Louisville is so iconic. Col. Sanders, Louisville slugger bats, Church Hill Downs...it's just fun to drive! The bonus of traveling there was the opportunity to see my twin cousins. It's been years since we've visitied...seeing family is always good!
