Show & Tell #3 June 15th

Good morning everyone! Last night I had some friends over for a crop club (scrapbooking). The four of us friends have been getting together for a year and a half now with the encouragement of our mutuial consultant/friend.

So the kids and I spent a better part of the day decluttering/cleaning (We are messies, well I have the desire to have a clean house but am outnumbered! ) but I digress; anywho....by the time my dear friends showed up I was tuckered. I was so tired in fact that I didn't scrap 1 page and I was hoping to post a pic of the event...LOL What I did accomplish is finding the pictures that I didn't have extras of to make copies to put in my album (see pic #2) notice all the tabs! I have a lot to copy today.

So I decided to post my current album I'm working on. Possum (DD#1) baby book! The plan is to go up to her first birthday then start Bub (ds#2) book, then Lou's (ds#3) book and go back to Possum's etc. I am a simple scrapbooker as I'm pretty new to this craft as I am to blogging! LOL

I really understand the out numbered messy story is like. I too am someone who has to work at organizing. I am a piler who wants to be a filer. lol

We would get together in my giant basement in Colorado and scrap for hours. We had a devotional, shared what the Lord had taught us during the week and a great prayer time.Mostly it was fun to scrap and rubberstamp. One week a month we Stamped cards for the church.

Love the Telling, can hardly wait for the showing.

I wish I had the time and the creativity to embark on this. My sisters and I did one for my folks 50th anniversary, and they were overwhelmed! I've also done a calendar. That's the extent of it. With digital photography, my photo albums are shockingly incomplete now!
I have a S&T, also. My very first!

The hardest part for me is the getting organized, so good for you! I have so many pictures that it takes me forever to go through them. I have finally decided that I don't have to scrap every single picture. I'll just keep the rest somewhat organized in photo boxes.

I've done a book for both of my boys up until their fifth b-day and first lost tooth. The rest are just going in a family album.

Good job getting the pictures up Jenny. Scrapping is so messy, why clean? (No, I know, I'm like that too). When I get into scrapping though, it pretty much takes over the house for the week.

I scrapbook/stamp too and time and organization are all areas I am challenged on also.
