We're fighting off an invasion!

We've been fighting off the Boxelder bugs for a few weeks now and they're just frustrating. As soon as you vacuum a room clean, they come back in full force.

I have even resorted to paying the kids a penny a piece for dead or sucked up bugs. Outside they found creative ways of putting the bugs to rest.....

Anyone have a trick to get rid of them inside? It feels like we have cockroaches. They have flown into food I'm cooking, joined us in the bathroom and dive bomb us at night....it's been quite the invasion. I hope dear friends that you do not have these creatures!
