We have never participated in Halloween but have always enjoyed fall very much!

We go to a local farm and pick pumpkins to decorate our porch. After the pumpkins have had their day ,we make them into pumpkin butter and roast the seeds. Some of the pumpkin butter goes to people for Christmas gifts making our holiday gift giving easier and yummier!

A friend makes a wonderful pumpkin soup and I love making pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting.
