Show n Tell Nov 2

Come join the fun Show n Tell Friday with Canadagirl each Friday. It's a ton of fun and a chance to meet new friends.

This weeks Show n Tell is a very sad one for me. Our nine year old dog Jag had to be put down Monday. He was our first family dog and a dear pet to all of us. Since we live on a farm we had the opportunity to bring him home and bury him on our land. He had a way of smiling when he was very, very happy. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear about your poochie. I know those pets are a big part of the family and their loss touches us deeply. She sure was pretty! I love animals that smile!

I still tear up about certain pets that died long ago. In fact, yesterday I kept losing it over a hen we lost Wednesday night - she thought she was one of us and was dear to our hearts. I'm pathetic aren't I? lol

So did you guys pass out tracts Wednesday? One of the dad's came late to our "friends" party because he was with the jr. high boys at New Hope doing the same. They didn't dress up, but went around passing out Snicker bars with "God Loves You" wrapped around it and they had a prepared speech to say at each home. I guess it was very well received.

I am so sorry for your loss. We still miss our golden retriever who died 3 years ago! They become such a part of the family, and with their passing a huge void is left. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

That is sad. We've had our share of pets who have met the same fate. We do miss them...

What a beautiful boy. I'm so sorry! We had to have our oldest dog put to sleep at the end of August (nasal cancer). None of us were ready to say goodbye. Pets can capture such a large part of our hearts, can't they?

I had several dogs growing up. Loosing each one was so hard. He looked like a sweet dog.

I'm sorry he had to be put down. :( Our dear dog is nearly 10 years old, and I'm not ready to give him up. Don't think I ever will be.

I am so sorry. I never had a show and tell that I wanted to cry. He was a beautiful dog. I know how you feel, I lost a dog a few years ago and I still cry if anyone mentions his name.
