Hello Blogger Friends! Here we are again with Show n' Tell Friday with Canadagirl our dear SSiC.
I wanted to share our Christmas with you. Christmas Eve we celebrate by attending candlelight service then coming home to appetizers while watching It's a Wonderful Life (B&W a must). Christmas morning we start coffee (another must! hehe) then open stockings and gifts. This year we only gave 3 gifts to the kids. Something you need, something you want and a book or audio. Then the kids made gifts for each other.
Possum (dd age 13) made no sew blankets and pillows for the boys. I just showed her briefly what to do and away she went. Lou (9)made boxes for treasures with Papa and Bub(11) made a hunting jacket for sissy and wood burning pic for Lou. They had a ball!
Greetings and many blessings from our family to yours! If you would like to join in the fun of Show n Tell just click HERE.
I love the idea of the three gifts. What great memories the kids are making by creating a special gift for each other. It looks as if they are really crafty and did a great job too! Have a wonderful weekend.

Hi Jenny thanks for stopping by and commenting :) Yes we are renting. We moved from so. dak. to CA in 2005, from a $250/mo mortgage to $1500/mo rent LOL. nuts! God must want us here, cuz we wouldn't move here by choice with this economy, and the time to by here in ca was 15-20 yrs ago ;P
Looks like your Christmas was very nice! My DD is right at eye level now too.. the two boys already passed me.
I really like your gift idea.
Lovely family pictures, thank you for sharing them with us.
You asked if my mom's cactus had bloomed before? No, this one one of the reasons why she was soooooo happy for she was not expecting such a neat flower, besides the fact that bloomed from such a small little plant.
Thank you for coming to my blog, you have a very nice blog. I happen to have one of the books you are reading. The search for significance..... just the other day I thought of taking it out and finish reading it.
Many blessings to you my friend.

Dear Jenny,
Hi! It looks like you had a very nice Christmas.
(sorry, I tried going to your site earlier today but my computer I guess was acting up and didn't get me past the navy & dots - nothing else). Glad I got in this time. Have a Happy New Year! Wishing you & yours health & happiness for 2008! Enjoy the co-op break - we are having fun doing NOTHING!!!
Blessings,
Jane
