Any excuse/idea to blog is exactly what I need these days so thought I'd try this out.

I'm thankful

  1. - we finished planting the garden yesterday with the added bonus of it raining last night so everything was well watered!
  2. -We began a new devotional we picked up at our homeschool convention called "Learning from Dad" by Tomorrow's Forefathers. My beloved teaches it and I help fill in the gaps when the kids seem a little foggy on something. This month's focus is on Truthfulness. The idea of focusing on one topic for a month should really help us all remember the direction the Lord wants us to go!
  3. -a clean home. Last weekend we really put our backs into straightening the house and it stayed that way for a whole week! ( a true feat for us! LOL) Possumgirl found her task of cleaning the bathrooms very easy now that the clutter is gone. Yeah for our team!
  4. -our church; our summer schedule has begun (only one service). We normally have two services and you don't always get a chance to see people from the opposite service so when we switch to the summer schedule we see EVERYONE! It's like old home week.
  5. -friends who stick by you through thick and thin! I have a select group of friends who I affectionally call "The A Team". These friends have traveled through a very tough two years with me and my family. Through late nights, tears, bad days, good days, and the every day occurances they have never waivered in their support.
  6.  -flowers - the seeds we planted last weekend have already sprouted bolstering our confidence in being able to be successful gardeners and showing us God's majesty in his creation.
  7. - My beloved...I couldn't be blessed with a more loving patient man! He is truly wonderful.

There ya go! (said in Minnesotan accent)

Enjoy the day friends!
