A Rose By Any Other Name...

We have this rose bush in our front yard that is just incredible. Our house is probably more than 100 years old and I imagine this rose has been here since the beginning. We have had scores of roses off this single bush and it just keeps producing. It begins blooming in early spring with a soft pink and creamy white rose. Now, in the fall, it is still covered in buds. But as the temperatures change, the colors become more intense and this brilliant yellow is introduced. And these roses smell so good, their fragrance is wonderful...that classic rose perfume. Too bad I can't copy & paste it...maybe a scratch & sniff icon...?

About Me
Its a record of my heart's journey as the Lord changes me evermore into His image. My name is Amy and I live in Oregon's lush, green Willamette Valley. My sweet husband and I have been married for 9 years and we are finding our way through the parenting maze as we raise our 3 precious kids. I am incredibly blessed to spend my days in my home. I stay busy being educated by my two sons (8&5) and my daughter (3). (Oh, and ocassionally I am able to teach them a thing or two!)
So, take your time looking around and feel free to leave a comment. I'd love to meet you!
