Waiting

Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart;

wait, I say, on the Lord.
--PSALMS 27:14

I ASK not that my course be calm and still;
No, here too, Lord, be done Thy holy will:
I ask but for a quiet childlike heart;
Though thronging cares and restless toil be mine,
Yet may my heart remain forever Thine;
Draw it from earth, and fix it where Thou art.

I am so sorry you missed the picnic. What a bummer to be sick. It was very fun and I will post tonight on it. Yes we will definately plan more get togethers. Ok, we went to Deterings Orchards, way out Coburg Road, far past the town of Coburg, probably 6 or so miles. there is a sign on the left sign where to turn left, then go down a bit and turn left, again a sign. Lots of apples rightnow, and more tomatoes. I hope to get some soon. The Saturday after this is Apple Days with a festival type atmosphere. Let me know if you need more info.

About Me

It’s a record of my heart's journey as the Lord changes me evermore into His image. My name is Amy and I live in Oregon's lush, green Willamette Valley. My sweet husband and I have been married for 9 years and we are finding our way through the parenting maze as we raise our 3 precious kids. I am incredibly blessed to spend my days in my home. I stay busy being educated by my two sons (8&5) and my daughter (3). (Oh, and ocassionally I am able to teach them a thing or two!) So, take your time looking around and feel free to leave a comment. I'd love to meet you!
