Passport Around The World

The kids and I went to one of our local homeschool groups Passport Around The World event yesterday. It was really fun. Each family that participated had a table with information on their Country, a stamp or sticker from their Country for each kids passport and food from their Country. We had a great time and learned a lot in 2 hours.

Last year this same group did Passport Around the United States. This is such a great way for kids to be exposed to lot of information in a small amount of time. It's also a great opportunity for kids to display their work. Maybe I'll organize an event for our homeschool group next year.

What a great idea! Thanks for sharing it. Some mothers and I are thinking about starting a co-op and this would be a great even to have!

What a fun idea! My homeschool group does something similar. We have a Project Fair at the end of the year where the children share projects of their choosing. But the Around the World theme is great!

We do something similar here, in our small, local group, but with science displays/experiments. Each child brings a display/experiment and all the kids go from table to table.
