I was cleaning out my school desk recently when I came across a little square piece of paper with the words HUG ME written on it. A smile came across my face as I was taken back to the day 3 years ago when I found this little slip of paper taped to my then 3 year old daughters back. When I asked my then 9 1/2 year old son about it he grinned and explained "I'm a homeschool bully Mom!" LOL I just love homeschooling!Yesterday that same son (Now 11 1/2) and I had the opportunity to go on field trip, just the 2 of us. It was weird being alone with just him in the car. I mentioned how odd it felt not having his brother and sister along. We started talking about all those years (6 1/2) that he was an only child. I (cautiously) asked him if he ever missed those days....I was delighted when he responded "No way Mom, I love having a brother and a sister. I remember all those years that I prayed for a brother OR a sister, then God gave me BOTH!" Have I ever mentioned I love that kid!!!
Dear God,
Thank you for the awesome ways you answer our prayers! Thank you for my 3 miracles. May I always remeber they are a gift from you and may their relationships always be a gift to each other .
In Jesus Name,
Amen
