Last Summer a homeschooling Mom friend of mine asked if I had ever heard of The Global Puzzle. I had seen it in the Sonlight Catalog, but I was glad to talk to someone who actually had used it. She told me their family had done it together during the school year and she was amazed how much geography even she and her husband had learned. So I figured I better order it....Here is my son placing the last piece of The Global Puzzle.

This was most certainly a good excersize in Geography. The puzzle has all 193 Countries all in the actual shapes of the Country. (All 50 States of the USA are in the appropriate shape too.) My son (11) and his friend (12) did this puzzle pretty much just the 2 of them. I was very pleased to see them pulling out the World Atlas to help them figure out what went where. I feel that both of them improved their knowledge of geography by putting this puzzle together and my son actaully wants to do it again next year! Now to me that speaks for itself!
