Spiritual Lessons From Mr. Potato Head...

I was telling my
son about
dinomomm's post about spiritual lessons in a public bathroom. (
Click here to read it.) He happened to be playing with Potato Head's at the time. The next thing I knew he had come up with this great lesson using Potato Heads.
Here it is...
Some people may look very good on the outside.
But are empty inside.
Yet as Christians no matter how we look...
God fills us up inside!
Acting like everyone else won't make you happy either. 
Only God will!Don't you just love it when your kids "get it"!!!

today we had a sudden rain, hail, thunder, lightening storm. my husband (in an apparent moment of brain malfunction) says "This sometimes happens when there is a tornado." Well that's all my 7 and 6 year old need to hear to begin freaking out. The first thing out of my 6 year old's mouth is "Can we pray?"
Ahhhh......to know that in a moment of crisis and panic (which is what they were doing) they know to pray to the One who takes care of us all.
