Enjoying Grandma's Visit
The kids are enjoying having their
Grandma and Cousin here for a visit. Here is a bit of what we
have been doing the past 4 days.
Making Smores
Stealing Kisses
Making Hamburger Cookies
So Cute! (Vanilla Wafers, Peppermint Pattys & frosting)
Reading
Swimming in the pool and passing out from fun in the sun!
(And obviously not too much picking up the house! LOL)
Lunch!
The kids made these Salade Nicoise Sandwiches for lunch yesterday. The recipe came from
The Usborne Internet-Linked Children's World Cookbook.
This is a wonderful Children's cookbook that I got my niece for her
birthday. It has recipes from all over the world and after you
have cooked the recipes you can visit websites to learn more about the
Country. This sandwich for example was from France and you could
visit websites to
learn about the types of foods eaten everyday in France, Find
more French Recipes, and another where you could see a translation of a
French Menu.

Gramma's are so much fun! We have that same s'more maker. The kids love to drag it out in the winter time.
I just wanted to stop by and say hello. It's been a while since I've been able to visit. It looks like you are having a nice summer :)
