My kids love making Pizza and we all
love eating pizza! So it is usually on our menu at least twice a
week. We make the dough in the bread machine.
Here is the crust recipe:
1 T. Yeast
2 Cups Flour
2/3 Cup Warm Water
1 T. Olive Oil
Put it all in the bread machine and select "dough only" setting.
We also frequently add Paremesean Cheese and Italian Seasoning to the
mix. (We usually double the recipe to get 3 pizzas or 1 big pizza and 3
small pizzas which is what the kids like to do the best.)
The kids love to help out with building the pizzas.
Here my daughter was proud to show off her happy face pizza
Of course our 2 year old needed to show off the pizza he helped with too! LOL
And speaking of our 2 year old...This week he is learning about what
happens when you color yourself with a green marker!

I knew I should have been suspicious when he was cooperating with his
sister and cousin and sitting quietly in the make-shift playpen they
had made for him out of pillows and blankets! (If you think this
is bad you should have seen the time when my daughter was 2 and she
used a red Sharpie marker as lipstick! She had a red clown face
for several days!)
Just another colorful moment from our lives! LOL

A red sharpie marker? It's a good thing she didn't make a black mustache. Oh, this had me in stitches--and I needed a good laugh this morning. I love the smiley-face pizza! What a great idea! We always make boring old symmetrical pizzas. I'll have to mix it up and give your ideas a whirl.

I haven't stopped by your blog for a while! I love reading about all the fun things you do with your little ones. You have a beautiful family and the warmth and love in your home oozes out of your pictures. :) Keep up the good work. BTW, I love the mini hamburgers! Hope you are with standing the heat so far...just think it could be worse, you could be living in Death Valley like I did for 3 summers!

Jun. 23, 2006 - Markers are better than scissors!

Love the picture with the marker. What a cutie!
My middle child got hold of a pair of scissors when she was three. She cut her bangs for me--TO HER SCALP!!! She was a rather funny looking child for many months!
