My 5 yo daughter is back to teaching her 2 yo little brother school. Here are 2 of the lessons I overheard yesterday...Mean King Janus
There was a Mommy and she had a baby who she loved very much. Mean King Janus wanted to kill all the little babies. The Mommy decided to help her baby. She asked her daughter to take the baby in float him down the river. Mean King Janus daughter found the baby. She took him to raise as her own. She took very good care of him and he grew up and SET HIS PEOPLE FREE!
(Not too bad, except I have no idea why she thinks Pharaoh is Mean King Janus! LOL)
Then I heard her singing him a song. This just killed me!
IKEA was a wee little man and a wee little man was he
He climbed up in a Sick-more tree for the Lord he wanted to see!
The Lord said IKEA you come down!
For I'm coming to your house today!
I'm coming to your house today!!!

IKEA is my absolute favorite store. (And it rhymes pretty well with Zaccheus!) Mostly because they have really cool children's toys and also for all the great (cheap) organizing and decorating items. We don't live near one so everytime we travel I am always dragging the family to IKEA. They don't mind since this is one of the only times they get toys without spending their own allowance.
Well her heart is in the right place, I think she just needs to work on the details a bit! LOL
