Here is a new math game I made for my 5 yo daughter.
I took 10 cups and wrote the letters 1 -10 on them with a Sharpie
marker. We line then up in a row. (You can only see half of
the cups in the picture.) My daughter throws 2 ping pong balls
into the cups. Whatever numbers they land in she has to add those
two number together.
You could also do this with 26 cups and write a letter of the alphabet
on each. When the kids throw a ball in the cup they would tell
you the letter and it's phonics sound. After they know all the
phonics sound they could get a spelling word for that letter. I
have not made a ABC one yet, but I'll have to pick up more cups next
time I go to the .99 cent store. (You might want more than 2 balls for
this game.)

Very Bozo the Clown. LOL, I love it. Great idea Mom. I'll have to use that when we get bored in math.

Thanks for stopping by my site. I'm glad you liked my pictures. I think it's about time for me to update again, but I've been sooo busy. Yes, there are many advantages to living in a smaller town, however, recently we have been feeling like it is just a little too small. Still waiting for the Lord to open a few more doors though.
That is a novel, cute, inexpensive, and fun cup idea. I love coming up with creative learning activities myself. Thanks for sharing!
Have a blessed week!

Another cool idea! BTW, now your son has given me more to think about as well...did God love Goliath? And what about all the other bad guys. Children really know how to cut to the heart of things don't they?
I am definitely not mad at you or anyone! I am glad I wrote why I had been quiet, in case anyone else was thinking the same. Take care!
