Muslin Puppets
Posted in Lapbooks
The
other night while I was watching TV with my hubby I whipped up a batch
of muslin puppets. I really had no plan for them, but I had a few
minutes, the machine was out and I had my bolt (Yeah, I have a whole
bolt, 30 yards!) of muslin out. The next morning my daughter got
up and said "Oh, these will be just what we need to make
Wizard of Oz puppets so we can act out the story!" See I knew they would come in handy for something! LOL

I saw the baby quilt. I made some similar ones with just the flannel. they are so easy and fun to make. I was customizing mine for each grandchild. If you get a chance go to my blog to find them. blessings.

You wear me out! I honestly can't imagine just "whipping up" puppets because the fabric is there. Oh, to be more like you!
I bet the kids had a blast!
I also have a whole bolt of muslin. It's to make a hanging curtain running the end of my bedroom to cover the doorless closets. I've had it for about five years now. I have prewashed it, though. Just in case, I should ever get the urge to actually SEW THE CURTAIN!! lol
