Jack-O-Lantern Jar Luminaries

5 year old, 2 year old, 12 year old

Here are the jars the kids painted. They really love projects where they are given very little input from me. I was amazed that even my 2 year old could paint a face on that was recognizable as a jack-o-lantern. I really wasn't expecting that!

Here they are enjoying the creative process.

We used regular ole .99 cent craft paint to paint of the glass. It seemed to work fine. Closer to Christmas we are planning to paint some baby food jars as Snowmen and use them for little Christmas gifts for their Sunday School teachers and Awana leaders, etc.

These should look really cute after dark with a little candle burning in them!
