Thanks for the comment on my Monday's Memories post tonight. You know, I was thinking of deleting that entry because I thought people would think I'm totally nuts, but when I read how you could relate, I felt better!! Thanks for making me feel 'normal'. ha ha I too think that we were left alone quite a bit (too much) when we were young. It's a good thing my sister and I stayed at home when we were supposed to, we were pretty obedient, but many kids aren't. I could never leave my kids like that, especially how society is today. Pretty scarry!
I LOVE your blog, by the way. Your ideas for Thanksgiving are so cool. I'm off to check out a few now. We're taking this week off from our regular school schedule to try different things, it should be a fun week. Thanks for your ideas!!!
Have a super Thanksgiving!

Thanks so much for sharing the info.!! I just made your Turkey cookies today with the kids and it was so much fun. I have a 2 yr old (just turned) too and she enjoyed eating the broken cookies too, as well as trying to eat every piece of candy in sight. I will be posting pictures of them hopefully today. We'll see. We also made the Garland of Gratitude 2 years ago and we keep it and use it every year and look back on the things we have written on the leaves and then add new ones. I think it is great! Anyways, thanks for all the wonderful ideas! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
