Making Aprons
Posted in Crafts, Sewing, Cooking, Etc...
My daughter and I have decided we need to start wearing aprons. Mostly because our next door neighbor wears one and she always has everything she needs tucked away in those great pockets! So here is my 5 year old daughters apron that she sewed herself! (With Mom's help & guidance of course!) I think she has inherited her Mother's love for BRIGHT colors and pattern! LOL
Here she is sewing her apron.
And of course her little brother HAD to have an apron too! (His was made 10 years ago for his big brother! He also has a matching chef hat around this house somewhere.)
Next we have to make one for ME! (Don't worry I am NOT using fabric that is quite so LOUD! ) LOL

My 7 year old daughter has been wanting to sew. So I guess if your 5 year old is at the machine, I should let mine too!

My 5yo daughter would love it if I sewed with her. Unfortunately I did not get the 'Singer' gene. I hoping either we can both learn together or my mother will move back here to teach her. :) The aprons look great!

1. Your daughter's apron is totally cool and serves the additional purpose of helping you always know where she is. (Who could get lost in those colors?)
2. Congrats on being featured blogger. You rock. :)
